history
Conquest
Oil started in 1960 with two men and one truck. By 1974, the company
had won a contract to become a Chevron
distributor, remaining so until Texaco took over Chevron’s
interests in the UK. Conquest Oil continues to work in partnership
with Texaco to this day.
Through
the 1990s the business soared as demand grew for oil as a source
of energy. To keep up with strong sales our fleet grew to four trucks.
In
1999 the company entered into the 3rd generation of the Craddock
family. We now have a fleet of seven trucks and supply more customers
than ever before.
